Can I collect parts in person?
We have no facility for personal collections. Please do not attempt to collect an order as you will be turned away which may cause offence. There is no shop front or customer service facility available at our warehouse. Our specialisation in mail order is one of the reasons that allows us to provide competive prices for top quality products.
Is your website secure?
Our website use encrypted technology from COMODO one of the leading providers of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to keep your order information secure. Our system uses Extended Validation (EV) SSL, these certificates are the highest assurance certificate. When making purchases through the shopping facility you will notice the address bar turn green. The green address bar, exclusive to EV SSL, provides visual assurance to visitors that the site is verified and secured.
We use Secure Trading for processing payments who are one of the leading providers of online payment systems.
Why Do You Want My Email Address & Telephone Number ?
We ask for these details so we can contact you to acknowledge your order and make your order process easier when you return to the site which we hope you will. If we have your contact details our carriers are also able to contact you to let you know goods are on the way to you or liaise with you if there is a delivery problem.
We also email customers special offers (providing you are happy for us to do so -you can opt out of receiving them if you wish). If we have your contact details we are able to resolve any problems or queries quickly.
Prices & VAT
We show two prices in GBP, one excluding VAT (for worldwide, outside EC countries) and one including VAT at 20% (for UK and EC countries). The two different prices can be shown by clicking on the link at the top left of the page (" Click here to show prices excluding vat")
The cost of delivery and packing is not included. This is shown separately in the order/basket. Delivery & packing is subject to vat for UK and EC countries. Some export orders for certain territories or of abnormal size may require quoting onan individual basis.
All orders placed will be invoiced and charged in GBP. All goods are sold subject to the price ruling at the time of invoicing.
Customers residing in the UK and EC countries pay VAT on parts and delivery. For EC businesses who are VAT registered, we will require your VAT number and official order to export exluding VAT. Please contact us prior to placing your order if you are an EC Vat Regsitered business. For worldwide (outside the EC) orders sent direct from our premises, VAT is not applicable.
Minimum Order Value & Free UK Shipping
We offer free shipping for Mainland UK orders over a value of £50.00 (excluding VAT) and under 30 kg's weight.
We respectfully request a minimum order value of £5.00. It is uneconomical for us to process an order for less than this amount.
I have placed an order. Can I come back and pay for it later?
Yes of course. As long as you have logged into your account your order should still be there for you to come back to.
What Does 'OEM' & The Suffix Letter 'G' Refer To ?
'OEM' stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Manufacturers part numbers are used for guidance and cross referencing purposes only. The use of a Manufacturers part number does not necessarily imply that the goods are from the same source. Goods may be supplied from either an Original Equipment (OE) source or an Aftermarket source. On this site The term OEM shall apply to any company or organization who is a supplier to a recognized vehicle manufacturer or their Parts and Service Divisions. You may also find a choice of brands for the same item, particularly on such items as Bearings, Brakes, and Filters. Please be assured that we only stock top quality products, we believe in offering the customer a choice where posiible but all our products will be of high quality. If the alternative is not up to the job we won't offer it. We want satisfied customers and long term relationships.
Where you find a choice of parts and one is denoted with a G suffix this will be the part that is made by an OE supplier to Land Rover. An example would be FRC5564 & FRC5564G Bearings. Our alternative plain brand FRC5564 would be from an OE bearing supplier such as Koyo, NTN, or NSK, our FRC5564G would be Timken brand, the Land Rover OE supplier. Both parts are of high quality.
There are plenty of cheap mail order outlets offering inferior product but we are not one of them.
