MANNOL Gasket Maker Red is a sealant, vulcanising into silicone rubber at room temperature.
It is exceptionally resistant to the influence of extreme temperatures.
It creates a reliable seal that will not crack, does not shrink and shift under the influence of sudden temperature changes.
It replaces O-rings, washers as well as asbestos, rubber, felt, paper, cork and metal seals.
It can be effectively used for repairing the following components:
- valve trains
- transmission oil pans sumps
- thermostat housings
It is resistant to the influence of lubricants, coolants, petrol, kerosene, water, acid solutions and alkalis.
it is easy to apply and remains flexible.
The working temperature of this product is from -50 °C to +300 °C (for a short time).
The surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free of oil and grease.
Apply material evenly and immediately join parts without flash-off time.
After applying on an oil-free surface, flatten and smooth the surface using soapy water. The gasket can be subjected to loads after 24 hours.
Operating temperatures from -50 °C to +300 °C (short term). Store in tightly closed original container in a dry place at temperatures from +5 °C to +25 °C.
